...From Aunt Holly...
"Hi everyone! I have been doing some research on bone marrow donations and thought I would share the info with you.
As you know, Kyle is in desperate need of a bone marrow transplant and you just might be the one God has prepared to be his match.
You must be between ages 18-60 and in decent health.
For all you locals, Medic in Knoxville will test you FREE of charge. No appt necessary.
If you aren't local, find a blood center near you or give me the area you wnat to search and i will look for you.
All you need to do is tell them you want to be put on the National Bone Marrow Registry. This requires signing papers and giving blood.
Be aware this is not testing for Kyle only. You may be a match for a different child in need, but just think you would be saving a life! I know you wouldn't want anyone rejecting your child, right?
Your name will be entered in the database and your name will show up if you are a match.
If God does give you the honor of being someone's match, it is a minor procedure where they will take bone marrow from your hip area which requires general anesthesia.
Pretty easy compared to what Kyle will actually have to go through huh? If you have any questions, go to the links on Kyle's website www.kylessmile.org.
Please Please Please make this decision to save a life maybe even our precious little Kyle!! Time is ticking and prayers are being made that God will have His will in this situation, but we must do our part as well.
Thank you so much--------Holly"

If you live in Norcal and want to be on the donor's list here is an easy and FREE way to do it.
Call your local Bloodsource,
set an appointment.
Show up about 15 minutes ahead to fill up a couple of pages of paperwork and let them take a tiny little sample of blood from a vein in your armpit.
Needle is tiny and does not hurt!
That's it....you are set!
They will process the sample and post the results on the donor's list that is consulted every day, from all over the world for a possible match...
